Grit

Hi all,

Could you please give me some advice on giveing hens grit? I would like to know wether its better to mix the grit in with the food or wether to have a dish of it on its own?

i put mine in a pot hooked on the side of the run in side
and they just help themselves Smile

I do the same as I found if you mix the grit in with the food they just eat the food and leave the grit

We mix ours with the feed, but you can put some in a pail and "free choice" it.
