What kind of name is Mr Meaty?! Haha. I like the photo of them two
together. Mabel doesn't seem frightened of him either!

Mr Meaty was just that ... a table bird
We had Little Miss Meaty aswell
No, they were alright with the girls. The cockerels were in a
seprate eglu but they all FR'd together, a bit of chasing for a
couple of mins but they were fine!

cute
i used to have an orpington rooster and the bantams used to hide
under him when the big girls used to pick on them. even the
chicks would run to him for protection
the big ones always surprise you.

He was a Welsummer x French Copper Black Marans, was bred to be a
table bird.
He used to try it on with her but could just stand over the top
of her!
We had a Welsummer x Commercial Meat Bird and a Lav Araucana -
both cockerels, who he lived with the rest of the time and they
got on fine.
