Hello, I love chickens and could talk about them all day! I have my own little flock of 23, most of which I hatched myself in the kitchen, Orpingtons, Blue and Buff, Wyandottes, large and bantam, Campines and Pekins, Wheaton Marans and Legbars. I also have 2 ducks(domestic) rescued from the wildlife center I volunteer at.

I am also involved with Mini Meadows Farm, a commercial breeder of beautiful pure breed chickens in Northamptonshire. I am trying to get onto the breeders directory but can't find out how, Help!

I'm not sure of the rules re talking about our business in the forum so any guidelines would be welcomed. Would like to respond to some of the questions by suggesting they visit us but don't know if this is allowed.

Thank you for any feedback

Hi Chicken Lady.

I am sorry your post has not been replied to before. A warm welcome on board. We do hope you will enjoy being a member here.

We have lots more exciting content and facilities to bring in the coming weeks! Great to hear about your own birds, they are soo addictive! You can talk away to your hearts content here, anyway!Laughing

I am pleased you have been in contact regarding the Breeder's Directory listing. It is now online for you.

In regards to business mentions and so on. Poultry Talk. com aims to bring a refreshing change to the 'online poultry cyberspace'. We do not run the network to a massive book of strict rules and we trust members to act responsibly and respect each other. We feel if that happens, there is no need for a load of rules. We want to create a warm and friendly network, where members can relax, and talk poultry but one that is also a great resource and useful tool. So we do not mind you mentioning other websites or Mini Meadows Farm. We all here to help each other, share, learn and connect, to enjoy and promote the hobby.

I hope that has cleared up any reservations you may of had and I look forward to seeing you on the network regularly.

Kind Regards
Jamie.

Thank you so much Jamie.

I do think we, like other businesses have a lot to offer people who love hens! We can help with equipment choices, choosing hens and finding good quality birds, and of course with information and advice freely given.

Glad to be part of your network
