Hello everyone,
This is my first post on Poultrytalk! Our daughter has asked for a chicken that lays blue eggs (having seen them in he supermarket) and we have room for another - does anyone have one to sell - not fussy on breed although I only know of the cream legbar and the Araucana. Also I am after a pair of laying quails... we live in Bucks, close to Bicester so happy to travel a reasonable distance from there. Thanks in advance.

Oh fantastic blue eggs, who could blame your daughter, they do seem to be becoming very popular. I am sure someone will be able to help you, although you may find more surplus stock, later on in the year, once breeders have hatched more stock and decided what they are selling.

Quail should be very easy to find, they too are very popular now, with several large breeder's dotted around the country.
