HI
Flubenvet is the best thing for worming poultry you can get it off
the net you mix it with their food.I suggest you add a spot of
olive oil or vegetable oil first so the Flubenvet can stick to the
pellets as it is very light and can be blown away. There is also
Apple cider vinager (ACV) it does not cure them if they have worms
but helps prevent them , as ACV raises acid in their gut to help
prevent worms. You still have to worm them periodically, but time
scale will be on any instructions supplied on the product you use.

much about chickens!!)

Diatom powder (food grade) will help keep the birds free of worms.
I give my chickens a pinch (depending on number) once a week, mixed
in with their food or just placed on top. They seem to love it and
will take it out of my hand - ouch! It can also be used for horses,
cats, dogs or other livestock for worming. It's relatively
inexpensive compared to wormers and can also be used to control red
mite and other parasites.

I use the Marriages Feed with Flubenvet already in it, so easy to
use, chickens love it and the hard work is done for you. Feed them
it for 7 days every six months

SPR Centre -www.sprcentre.co.uk tel 01243 542815. You can get it in
different sizes - 500gm shaker, 2kg, 5kg and 10kg. I usually get
the biggest tub as I've g0t 2 24ft sheds and 27 coops and runs.
I've started seeing traces of red mite after the winter - 3 days
dusting of the perches and corners has virtually cleared them, but
I shall continue once a week til autumn. You can also get a small
plastic bellows from them which is great for puffing the powder
into all the cracks and crevices.

wow thats alot of chickens.....i have ordered some from ebay, 100%
feed back of the seller, so should be ok, think i have nearly
cleared them in the infected coop but dont want to risk my bigger
coop getting any, so prevention is better than cure as the saying
goes...lol
