Hello all, thought I better introduce myself!!! Some of you may
already know me from other forums but for those who don't, be
warned, I am known as a bad influence and bird crazy!!! They could
be right! My other half 'City Boy' and I started off 18 months ago
with 4 ex battery hens. We now own around 180 birds including, a
good size stock of hybrid layers, chocolate and black bantam
Orpingtons, Partridge Cochins, Welsummers, Gold, Silver and Black
Appenzeller Spitzhaubens, Light Sussex, Cuckoo Marans, Totenko,
Araucana, Cream Legbar, black Indian Runner Ducks, White Face and
Fulvous Whistling Tree Ducks, two orphaned mallard ducks, four
Bronze turkeys, three Bourbon Red turkeys, Melanisitc (Black) and
Golden pheasants, two geese, one of which lives in the house!, two
white rheas a selection of mice and finally a barn owl, who also
live in the house at the moment!!! We have been showing over the
last twelve months and have been surprisingly successful for our
first year at it! We hatch all year round and often have chicks,
growers and hatching eggs available for sale. Looking forward to
