Well as we are half way through the National Show it seemed
appropriate for this topic of the week.
What do you enjoy most about attending/shows
events?
What do you think is the most valuable part of attending?
Which ones do you visit & prefer?
What could be improved on at most shows you visit?
Tell us your views!

Love to see real examples of breeds so we can compare to our own.
Great to see how the Judges of turkeys at the National had written
up the reasons for their placings.
Could do with more of this so newbies like us can understand the
judging.

Meeting all the people showing and having a good chat to them about
the birds, Winning things is always fun too. ALways go national and
the federation plus all my local little shows. breakfast are always
too pricey at the big shows and also at the little shows I always
seem to win something in the raffle making new contacts is always
good as you never know when they become useful hope to meet some of
the people off here at some of the shows. Red x

My Favourite show has got to be the federation! But i also love the
smaller agrictural shows (we have quite alot, as we are in
Cumbria). I love to exhibit and seeing what my birds have won,
weather its a 4th or a placement on championship row. But the thing
i love to do the most is judge! I have judged on numerous occasions
and have just been recently to judge the eggs (last year over 150
entries) and the junior classes, at the Border Union Show, which is
held in Kelso, in Scotland, in July time
