When do turkeys STOP laying eggs. I have 1 hen that hatched out her eggs sep 16 and another hen who will hatch out the end of oct . I had one hen that layed eggs last december. can anyone tell me how to get them to lay in the spring so the little ones can have all summer to grow. they are NOT under lights . they are free roaming can go under the roofed shealter that has perches under it any time they want . they have 6 acers of my land and 35 acers of woods behind me to roam in. I feed them one time in the morning ,they fly/run in from everywhere. They are as FREE AS A BIRD

Hi Tass.
Congratulations on your hatch. If your birds are free ranging I would not of thought there would be a lot you can do to change the times they lay really, with the seasons.

I will ask my dad who was a Turkey Breeder for 36 years and let you know if I can provide anything else of any more use.

Regards,
Jamie.
