hi i have 8 silkie chicks what is the best feed as they are about 5 weeks old now ???? can you help

Hi,

You will need to feed chick crumb up to about 6-8 weeks or so. After that you can switch to growers pellets until about 18-21 weeks, and after that you can use layers pellets. When switching from one to the other you can mix it for a few days or so - e.g. half and half chick crumb and growers pellets - so that they get used to it.
