Just wanted to say hello and introduce my self. Ive kept bantams for years - at least 15!! and live in Wiltshire.
Last year i found out about seramas and that started me taking the hobby one step up and in came the incubators and i became "a breeder"!! This breed has got me hooked.
Im now hoping to take another brave step forward and maybe show.
For this i need a bit of a push and some courage so was hoping to get to know /met some local serama breeders who could give me some pointers where to START!!Smile

Hiya henpeck!! Welcome to the forum. Showing is one of the best ways to get to know more about poultry, but with 15 years of experience i think you're ok and it's time to have some fun!! We started showing 5 years ago, and the friends we have made and places we have travelled to that we wouldn't have if we didn't show, have been amazing! You go girl!! PM me if you want the email addy for one of the best Serama breeders in the country, i keep trying to get her on the forum, but she never has the time!! LOL. Hope you enjoy it here, and get showing soon so we can meet up for a coffee!!

Thanks Jubes your info posted on showing tips have been a great help and really given me a push to get started. It seramas and booted bantams that i hope to show . I already belong to the Serama breed club so now as you advise i will find out more about the rare breeds for the booted bantams.
I will keep you to that coffee!!!
