read about chickens -the book I read first was Starting with
Chickens by Katie Thear. Talk to people who keep chickens and most
of all watch them and you will learn. My tip is, if you need to get
them in early, sweet corn always hurries my girls along!

Hi Guys!! Welcome to the forum, hope you ask lots of questions
there's alot of experienced folks on here with hopefully alot of
the answers! Never be worried about asking, no question is silly if
you don't know the answer! Good luck with your chooks, and they are
very addictive!

Hi Gambler and welcome to poultry talk, Its great to hear new
members starting up with poultry, my advice to you will be, keep
your birds secure from preditors, give them the best feed avalible
such as Garvo, look after them and you will have lots of healthy
poultry. good luck
