Hi Fluff.
Nice to see you here again on Poultry Talk. com. I hope you continue to enjoy it here!

I have one of these machines, which I bought last year and have only used a couple of times and I too experienced the same issues as you and agree about the awful instructions!Laughing

In the end we got the humidity to rise but did not find it easy to regulate and took a while to reach our required humidity level. We had to find a very small screw and turn it on the humidity pump which is connected to your water supply and eventually this increased. Have you also changed the 'sponge' in the main incubator on the lid?

I hope you understand what I mean here, I am just about to be going home soon so will have another look at mine to jog my memory again, we have not used ours recently.

Regards,
Jamie.

I've got one and I've had really good hatchings in it - the instructions are really bad - but the machine it'self is idiot proof - to change the humidity press the Plus and minus together - then the temp will flash - press OK unless you want to change it!! then the humidity will flash - then you press on the plus until you have reached the humidy you want - I usually use 63 when you arrive at humidity wanted - you press OK then you get the alarm HI and Low press OK both times and that's it - but normaly the humidity will take an hour or so to get to the humidity you want - which makes sense - otherwise your sponge thing would get soaking - you'll hear the pump making a lot more noise - normal - I used three quarters of the yellow "thing" and didn't change it at any time during incubation nor did I have to turn a screw - have you put the tube the right way over the pump?? 2 people have told me they had put it under and not over the round thing in the middle. Sorry for being soooooooo un -technical - EmbarassedEmbarassed
