Has anyone got one or used one? How do you find them and what are
your comments on them? Am considering purchasing one but want to
know more and what other people think first.
Thank you.

I think they're brilliant but did not buy mine, I made them out of
a heat mat taped to a wooden board or tray, screwed legs on and hey
presto an electric hen at a fraction of the price of a purpose
built one.
Cheaper to run than lamps and in my opinion safer.

That's a fantastic idea - where do you get a heat mat from and what
size would you recommend?

Have a visit to www.forttex.co.uk they have heat mats at very good
prices and different sizes (Iuse the biggest), they also have other
bits and bobs for home made bators, they are very quick and offer a
first class service.
I'm really not on commision, its just they are a first class
company to deal with.
