I have 1 x bantam chocolate wyandotte pullet for sale. She is NOT a 1st generation chocolate Orp cross breed like so many for sale at top dollar. I bought some eggs from a breeder of this colour and saw te parent birds . I hatched 1 female chick. I only have the one and have no companions for her, and so she needs a home with a black or chocolate male. She is a good rich chocolate colour as her father was chocolate and mother black, so she is not a horrible diluted colour. Her leg colour could do with working on, but onto a good black male with good yellow legs Im sure that it can be sorted out, these colours are a work in progress at the moment. I paid almost £60 including postage for the 6 eggs and so I will sell this little female for £45.00 as Im sure she will be very useful to anyone wishing to breed this colour. I've seen these selling for £70 each, but Im not looking to make a quick buck, I just want her to go to someone who will use to benefit the breed. She is about 4 weeks old now and has got quite a bit of feather on her. She needs to be collected from home in a warm box with hot water bottle etc to stop her from getting chilled. She will need a warm brooder for the next 2-3 weeks before coming off heat. I won't sell her to inexperienced keepers.
