Cockerels given ASBO's for crowing

Not sure if any one saw the newspaper report about Colin the cockerel who (or rather his owners) was given an ASBO by the local council because his crowing early in the morning was annoying neighbours. I did a little research into other similar cases and wrote about it on my blog. While one case of a shop keeper having a large number of chickens in his back yard in a built up area seemed justified, the rest seem to be a case of people moving to the country who don't have a clue and then complaining when cows moo, cockerels crow and so on.....

Hi Rachel.

Yes, lol. It does sometimes seem to be that way. Quite funny you posted this as crowing and how your neighbours affect your poultry keeping will be our new topic of the week for next week, starting later today.

Regards,
Jamie.
