Serama Dinky in the breeding pen.

Here is my 2009 bred boy "Dinky" who is now in the breeding pen with 2 lady friends. They weren't very nice to him at first and pecked his comb! But he's fought back and asserted his authority and the girls are much better behaved now. And much to my excitement I saw him tread one of the females this morning and looks to me like he's doing this thing! So all my fingers are crossed that he fills those eggs!! He's so little at only 289gram when I weighed him last, that I just hope he can hold his own against the ladies!!

aww lovely boy, filling any eggs yet? lost my serama cock this week :( had to cull him!!!! i was mortifyed but he was in horrible pain.still have my much loved little henny tho. think i have found a good relacement, its a toss up between first generation hatched from jerry schexayder (who brought serama to the west) so they are new blood in the UK, looking very nice birds and good showers and breeders or jenny has a nice looking pair on b4p. well done with dinky :) x
i should be off to pacos this weekend to collect that pullet and hpefully that red cock if he is still well x

Thank you. Yes he is filling eggs!!!! Candled the 4 eggs and 100% fertile!!! Sorry to hear about your boy. Use my boy Rocky he'll fill the eggs for sure!!!
