I have got a friend who is starting up ex batt re-homing programme.
Ex batts are super if you are just starting with hens or you are a
fully established keeper! She is based in Derby and she would like
a £3.00 donation per bird, to go towards transport, feed and
medication etc. Please contact her by:

Twitter: @mollbrassington
email: M.brassington@live.co.uk
if you do not have acess to any of the above, please contact me via
poultry talk and i shall find an other way of communication.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan,nice to see a 15 year old doing some good and not glued to
an xbox.I have just posted in reply to chicken Steve, who like your
friend,re-homes ex batts. We build and personally deliver hen houses
all over the country, and are often asked where they can acquire
hens, mainly ex batts.I now have your friends details, thanks to you,
and will be happy to pass them on in future. If anyone else needs a
nudge regarding the same matter,I am more than happy to help.Simply
contact me via this site and I will add you to my ever growing list
of suppliers.Keep up the good work Dan.

Hi Lewis,we have in the past donated a hen house for auction to the
BHWT,via Lisa at your Devon branch and personally delivered to the
winning bidder .So yes we are fully aware of yourselves and the
great work you do.

170 plus girls rehomed so far!
Trying to find a new farm to rescue some from, as the previous
farmer has stopped the whole thing due to new laws on enriched
cages.
Thanks :)
