Are they on medicated chick crumb or have you got any Coxoid?
You need to get them sorted asap, it sounds like it could be coccidiosis.

Maybe try and separate the worst 2 but treat them all.
How old are they? and are they still under heat?

I'd guess the anitbiotic would be Tylan (or Baytril) ... can't think what M would be atm! lol
Hope it works!

I wouldn't think it was stress with bloody poos ... had a customer in today who's chicken Drop Moulted after firework stress.

Oh, I've just googled it - sounds nasty, but better that than Marek's. How are they getting on? Are you seeing any improvement yet?

I don't know about mycoplasma - only what i found when i googled it. As I've never had this problem - I've only kept chickens for a few years, too, hopefully someone more experienced will come up with something. Sounds sensible to keep your new ones separate from your laying flock, at least for now. Perhaps the on-line chicken vet can help, too? Or ask on the health forum here? I hope all goes well. Let me know how you get on?

Am sure this is what my girls keep dying from. Where do you get Tylan from? Is it only available from vets?

If the antibotics is Tylan (available usually from vets or online with prescription) added to water the usual dose is 1teaspoon to 4 litres for 72hrs but if still rattling keep it up for 5 days ( must not have access to any other water other than medicated )
Tylan is very good just give it time to kick in also you should treat anybirds they have been in contact with...
Remember to wash your hands before touching other birds as we can carry it on our hands, wellies etc...
A good natural back up is Respite ... a garlic based supplement,

Try asking the Chicken Vet online? Worth a shot! Very pleased to hear they're on the up!

I am breeding poultry for many years. I suggest you not to join flocks, because healthy flock will get the disease. Treat the healthy flock first and then introduce healthy flock to the ill. You can also put grated garlic into the water, one clove per litre. You can also do the same with onion. After recovery I suggest you vaccination on mycoplasma (for example Galivac).
