Hello everyone
I joined today and so thought I would say hello.
I live on the north Norfolk coast.
I have Ixworths only 3 at the moment and 1 la bresse hen and 1
cornish game bird. I also have some bresse x ixworth chicks that
molly the cornish game bird hatched they are all nearly feathered
up at 4 weeks and growing really fast! I can't wait to see how they
finish up.
I want some welsummers to add to my collection.
So thats me
Bye for now

Welcome Willow. If your Ixworths are anything like my mucky Light
Sussex, those lovely white feathers won't stay white for
long!

Hi Katea4
Yep you r right they love getthose lovely white feathers all
mucky.
A year ago I wanted to take them to a local poultry club show and
chickened out because I thought I would never be able to get them
white enough to show LOL They turn yellow in the sun too so woul
have to keep them all caged up and they would hate that!! they love
to free range.
I love light sussex too
