Hi everyone,
I hope someone can give me some pointers to help my wonderful silkie boy. He is approx two years old and has never had any problems before. In the last two weeks he has been throwing his head back mostly when eating as if it is difficult to swallow. He is managing to eat and looks healthy and of good weight.I took him to the vet who thought he had slightly swollen lymph glands in his neck and gave him anti biotics which he had for a week.It seemed to make a bit of a difference but now he is just as bad as ever.He is kept free range with four healthy girls in a quarter of an acre garden and fed layers and mixed corn.I also use poultry cider vinegar. He was wormed a month ago with ivermectin .Any ideas please?
