Hi,

Runner ducks are very hardy, if you look after them correctly they won't get any dieses etc. The only pitful with runner ducks if they get scared and panic they run and trip over things. This is a problem as the way they stand it is easy for them to pull and strain in some cause brake their legs. If you notice your runner duck has a bad limp seperate the duck imediatly and put it into insolation with soft straw. This helps because as you have most properly gaverd runner ducks stick together. The injured duck won't rest it's leg it will try and keep up with the other duck resulting in more damage to it's leg. If you insolate it for a week or so, it will be resting and the leg will slowly repair. I have 30 + runner ducks for the past 3 years and this is the only problem with their overal health that i have came across.
