Hi i posted a few months ago, but wanted to recconmend the place we
bought our chickens from, i know they post on here and its was also
reconmended to me on this site but i thought the farm was great it
was very clean, i couldnt smell the chickens like i could at
another place i went and the birds themselves looked so much better
than i'd seen elsewhere we chose a light sussex, a normal orange
one (forget the name!) and 2 cotswold cream legbars (i think!) all
four are lovely birds 3 are laying and one hasnt started yet,
hopefully she will soon though
anyway the place was mini meadows farm in northamptonshire it was
definately worth the drive, as well as everything above the owner
was really nice and helpful since we are complete beginners he
was happy to answer all our questions and let the girls pick out
the chickens they wanted which was really nice for them
poor chickens got some really daft names though! Goldie, Dolphin
in the sea, Trixibelle, and Freddy!!!!!
