I hope someone can help...Bernard our three year old Norfolk black turkey began pecking his legs and feet three weeks ago. We sprayed for scaly leg, louse powdered and wormed him and when he'd got no relief from that we took him to the vet who gave him antibiotics, took scrapings from both legs and could see nothing. The vet was stumped really and just hoped the medication worked. He's still constantly pecking his legs or sitting down on them. It's so sad. I just wonder if anyone has had the same problem with poultry and if so if there's any advice out there.
I feel I can give him another few days but if I can't find a solution I'll have to have him put down because it's no life for him.
